Engelberg is a very nice place with lots of possibilities for outdoor activities like skiing, climbing, golfing, hiking, ski jumping, paragliding etc. Many famous people have their second domicil there. Within 30 minutes from Lucerne we arrive in Engelberg.

This spectacular cable car takes you to the Fürenalp. You better not be afraid of heights.

On the way back you can see the monastery of Engelberg.

At Fürenalp you can just stay in the restaurant and enjoy the impressive closeness of the mountains or choose an easy hiking tour about 1,5 hour.

If you are interested, you have the chance to watch the cheese-production.
